Our school
Cloud Forest has taught Chinese martial arts in Greensboro since 1969. The Wei Family name, 衛, means to guard and protect. That tradition shapes both what we practice and how we look after one another on the floor.
The Cloud Forest Guardians are our wider school community: beginners, lifelong students, families, and competitors. You can train for confidence, health, self-defense, or competition. There is a place for you here, and competition is always optional.

How to start
Pick any class on the schedule, sign the visitor waiver online, and show up ten minutes early in comfortable clothes. No payment, no pressure.
You train, not watch. The instructor pairs you with a senior student and keeps you inside your limits. Kids' parents can sit floor-side.
If it fits, enroll for Greensboro classes on this site or at the front desk. Give 30 days' notice to stop; your confirmation shows the final full paid billing-period end.
Questions
No. Most people walk in with none. Every adult class takes beginners, and kids start in age-grouped classes built for first-timers.
Regular training is month to month with at least 30 days' cancellation notice. The Online Academy also offers a prepaid annual plan that renews yearly. Renewals due during notice still process in full, with access through the full paid billing period. Cancellation takes effect at the first billing period end at least 30 days after notice; payments are nonrefundable and not prorated. The Apprenticeship has a five-year commitment, and Personal Advisor has a six-month commitment, under their separate agreements. You can manage regular plans on the Billing screen of the student app; the steps are at traincloudforest.com/manage-membership. Cancel the monthly Academy trial before its seven days end to avoid the first charge.
Cloud Forest is a private membership club. On-campus students pay $20 a year, or $50 for a family, on the day they enroll and once a year after. It is already included in the first checkout amounts shown on the pricing page for those plans. The Online Academy does not charge a yearly club fee.
Wednesday and Thursday are the clearest fit for the Wei Family plan: Kids Jujitsu meets at 5 PM, Kids Kung Fu at 5:45 PM, and adult classes start at 6:30 PM. The $200 monthly family plan covers up to five people in one household in Wei Family classes. Monday's kids class is Running Fist at 5:30 PM, a partner program billed separately. Parents and guardians must supervise children whenever they are not in class, including while a parent trains.
Instructors lead children during their scheduled class. Parents and guardians are responsible for children before and after class and whenever they are not training. Plan for another responsible adult to supervise your child if your own class continues after theirs. The family plan does not include childcare.
Within the Wei Family classes, yes, one family tuition covers all of them. Partner programs like Goju Ryu or Wing Chun are billed separately by their instructors.

Active on-campus students receive the full Online Academy library and Hercules AI fitness coach through their existing account. Sign in first and ask the school about missing access before buying another subscription. Partner class tuition remains separate. Online-only students can start a free 7-day trial, then $34 a month, or pay $390 for the year. No yearly club fee on the Academy.
