Chinese Boxing
Chinese Boxing at Cloud Forest Martial Arts is a modern, practical striking program taught by Sifu Casey Martin, who blends the efficiency of Full Circle Gung Fu, the adaptability of Jeet Kune Do, and the combative precision of Paul Vunak’s Progressive Fighting System. The result is a fast, fluid, and highly functional approach to striking rooted in Chinese martial arts principles but optimized for real-world self-defense and personal development.
Students train footwork, angles, trapping, close-range striking, pad work, combination drills, and pressure-tested tactics designed to build confidence, speed, and practical skill. Under Sifu Martin’s guidance, the class emphasizes directness, simplicity, and efficiency—core ideas shared across JKD, Vunak’s PFS, and the traditional arts that influence Chinese Boxing.
As part of Cloud Forest, one of only four Jing Wu Headquarters in North America, this class reflects our commitment to blending tradition with innovation while supporting the broader martial arts community.
