As a member of Cloud Forest Martial Arts, you have the right to train in a safe, respectful environment, access the classes and programs included in your tuition plan, and participate in club events and community opportunities. Members also have the right to fair treatment, clear communication about policies and fees, and recognition for their progress and achievements within the Cloud Forest lineage.

Community
The martial arts community is a diverse network of schools, teachers, and students connected by a shared passion for training, discipline, and growth. It values respect, tradition, and the exchange of knowledge across different styles, creating opportunities for learning, collaboration, and lifelong friendship.

Martial History & Resources
At Cloud Forest, training goes beyond the mat. We provide members with access to a wealth of martial arts resources for those who want to take a more academic approach to their studies. Our student library holds books on martial arts, philosophy, healing arts, Taoist studies, and more, reflecting the deep history and traditions we preserve.
Members who express interest may sign out books from our library, as well as review charts, notes, and reference materials prepared by our faculty. These resources give students the opportunity to study the theory, culture, and science behind the practice, enriching their martial arts journey with both practical and intellectual depth.

Chin Woo & Wei Family Lineage
The Wei Family Lineage is a living tradition of martial arts passed down through generations, carrying with it systems of combat, healing, and philosophy. At Cloud Forest Martial Arts, this lineage is preserved and taught through styles such as Guardian Fist, Royal Bodyguard Dim Mak, Tai Chi, and the internal arts. The Wei Family arts emphasize both the physical and internal aspects of training, ensuring that martial knowledge is not just preserved but actively applied in modern times.
As one of only four Jing Wu (Chin Woo) Headquarters in North America, Cloud Forest holds a special role in honoring and carrying forward the vision of the original Chin Woo Association. Founded in China to unify martial artists and preserve traditional systems, Chin Woo has always stood for the sharing of knowledge, respect across styles, and making martial arts accessible to the public.
Through the Wei Family Lineage, Cloud Forest strengthens the mission of the Chin Woo Association—bridging tradition and community, and ensuring that authentic martial knowledge continues to thrive and serve people today.

Chinese Herbal Studies
For members interested in exploring the healing side of martial and internal arts, Cloud Forest offers opportunities to study Chinese Herbal Medicine. This includes learning about traditional herbs, formulas, and their uses for supporting health, recovery, and balance. Students gain insight into how herbs complement martial training, Qigong, and wellness practices, while also connecting to the deeper traditions of Chinese medicine.
